The Nature and Necessity of Repentance

When tragedy overtook a group of Galileans, Jesus was asked if such calamity occurred because they were worse sinners. He answered no, but continued to explain that all men must repent of their sins or perish. Without repentance, Alistair Begg reminds us, all sinners will face the righteous judgment of God. We are alive today only by God’s goodness. Let us not squander His gracious patience toward us and repent while there is still time.
