We are checking before and after processing to see if 6-8x is obtained with the Genius system. In addiction, it is imperative for maximal benefit to have 1.5 million platelets per cc. This has been shown to give the greatest angiogenic effect. Most PRP systems result in much less concentrated platelets. The Genius passed with flying colors. The PRP ended up at 1.559 million platelets per ml and 7.4x. We also know from prior studies that the viability rate is 97%, which is also much higher than most devices.
