HOW TO * FULL 100 Hour Service Suzuki Outboard Maintenance * Step by Step * Impeller, Anodes & more!

In this episode we do a complete Maintenance FULL 100 hour service on Suzuki Outboard engines. @suzukimarineusa We started off with taking the prop off and removed the gear oil to drop the lower unit so that we can change the impeller, gaskets and seals. This step if properly lubricated the lower unit should come off smoothly otherwise its going to be a bit tough and will need man power to remove and preferably a second pair of hands to help. Be careful in this step as you do not want to damage the drive shaft seal or the drift shaft itself. Once you have removed the lower unit safely place down and start working on your impeller. We later moved on to the Anodes and boy was there a surprise under there. every 100 hour service you should check and/or replace these anodes. Watch this clip how this is done. Spark plugs are simple and easy to locate make sure to ask your dealer how tight you should have your spark plugs, in my case it was a bit more than finger tight. Upper unit regular oil change is very easy to drain and replace, please comment below if you wish to see a video on how that is performed along with oil filter change. Fuel Filter also is included in this 100 hour service, takes a couple of rags and screws to unbolt to get to the filter. Please leave a comment below if you wish to watch a video how this is done.
