First Look At A Carbonation Stone. “Quick heads up — I’ve got a helper for the heavy lifting and hot stuff, while I focus on sharing 40+ years of homebrew know-how. 🍻 Full explanation’s in my intro video [link]… but enough waffling — let’s make some beer!” Carbonation stones are ideal for diffusing Co2 into beer. This particular Carbonation Stone features 0.5 Micron holes. The typical wait time for conditioned beer inside a Cornelius Keg is roughly 1-2 weeks, with the Carbonation Stone Co2 is dispersed with a tremendous amount of gas bubbles which create a larger surface area to help speed up how quick the beer can be absorbed by the Co2. Commercial Breweries use much larger Carbonation Stones. The Carbonation Stones are really simple to use, simply sit the stone at the bottom of your keg & attach a 1/4'' bore of tubing to the barbed section of the stone with the other end of the tubing attaching directly to the Gas in post on the cap of the keg. Recommend carbonating your beer a couple of hours before serving to ensure beer is adequately carbonated. #carbonationnation #beer #beerbrewing #homebrewing #craftbeerreview #homebrew
