North West Recycling's Rick Allen reviews the Hyundai HL955A

North West Recycling, based in Carlisle, run a busy 30-acre site and process around 150,000 tonnes of waste a year. With Hyundai’s help, they are constantly improving and expanding their business. NWR currently have four Hyundai HX130 crawler excavators and four Hyundai HL955A wheel loaders with extra long arms. The loading shovels are run for about 3,500 thousand hours a year with very little downtime. The Hyundai machines are liked by the drivers with good easy to use controls and gauges. The HL955A’s have plenty of power and help NWR load up to 30 tonnes an hour into a shredder and 40 wagons a day. Rick summarises: ‘’I have no hesitation to recommend Hyundai. We like them and they do what we need them to do.
