Back in 2017, I made a tribute compilation for the GMD GP9's that were recently retired at the time off of the CP Rail roster. I never got around to completing follow ups to that video over there on other retired CN/CP locomotives, so finally, I thought I'd do one on a series of engines more recently retired from Class 1 railways like CN, the General Electric Dash 8. But with a twist of lemon! I thought I'd do a CN Dash 8 tribute compilation, but add a little commentary section on a tiny bit of the history of the locomotive model and it's history on CN. In this video you'll see my catches of all the types of Dash 8s used on CN, the "Draper-Tapers", the Santa Fe widecabs, the CNW standard cabs and the IC "Blue Devils" from 2013-2024 !
