After some acclimatisation yesterday, we are ready to attack our goal: the Dent Blanche! We got up pretty early as there was rain forecasted in the afternoon. After two hours of walking and scrambling we got to the meat of the climb, the grand gendarme. We surpassed this through the southwest face and continued along the ridge over a few more towers to the summit. The descent could have gone smoother, but after almost sixteen hours of climbing and walking we finally got back to the car.
