Here's a really awesome way to take notes while recording audio. You'll be able to skip to sections of the audio based on what your were typing. Subscribe here: https://bit.ly/talossub This system is similar to those of like Notability and OneNote, but it is a bit more flexible (and is free). Basically, you take a screen recording while you're taking your notes. This allows you to see what was said while you were typing. It is one of the best ways to take notes in any word processor you want. The tutorial also shows you how to use VLC or Youtube to speed up the playback. Youtube also allows for captions and a downloadable transcript, which can be great for studying.
