Ego Dissolution: Dark night of the Soul

Through any spiritual awakening you will experiences catalysts that will propel you into the Dark Night of the Soul. The Dark Night of the Soul is there to help you see past the ego voice and to become more of who you are or your Higher Self. You are here to master the lower energies and bodies including the physical, mental and emotional bodies. Every time do the deep shadow work, you are allowing more of your Higher Consciousness or Higher Self to become present. The higher self can't occupy the same space as your ego so as you do the inner work you dissolve the ego. Ego dissolution and the Dark Night of the Soul are some of the most important energies of the Ascension. You aren't a victim to what happens to you, all difficult experiences are there for you to dissolve and transcend. It isn't the easiest thing to do but it's the most empowering thing to do.
