This was enough for the victory against the Red Dragons and now Stoke are right back in amongst the pace setters at the top. Stoke have lost their past four league visits to Millwall and could lose five in a row for the first time tonight and also since losing 6-0 to Leeds back in April, Stoke have shipped in just three goals across their past, six away league outings. The Potters now are also boasting the best defensive record in the Championship, having just conceded six goals home and away in their 10 matches so far, which is very impressive. Millwall have only lost one of their past 13 league meetings with Stoke City(W7 & D5), and going down 2-0 in March 2022, The lions have good home form at The Den and have won seven of their past 10 home league games. Ex Stoke & current Millwall manager Alex Neil has won five of his past six league matches against Stoke, losing the other 1-0 with Preston in back September. My prediction tonight is a 1-0 victory, we don’t usually do well in the capital, for some reason and I just feel with Stoke having the best defensive record in the Championship at the moment, we will be tough to score against, but I do think we are in for a battle tonight against Millwall’s physicality, and the dirty tricks, but I think we will just nick the win.
