Project Scooter - The 1967 International Scout 800
Our latest project here at Macy Acres is a 1967 International Scout 800. This is the first of many episodes on the build and project of taking an old Scout and Retromodding it into a more modern vehicle. We will be attempting to take a 6.0L LS V8 from a 2500HD Silverado and transplanting it and the 4L80e transmission into the Scout. We will also be moving all the wiring harnesses and electronics over to the Scout, making it a much more updated machine. Also in this episode, I discuss the history of the Scout and how we ended up with this particular 1967 Scout. I even tell you where, what, when, and how Scooter got it's name.
