DIY Woodchip and Garden Waste Solution - How I Recycle Our Garden Waste at Home | Irish Garden

Starting with an early spring clean, cutting back Nepeta, Clematis and Buddleia and clearing a lot of branches with the help of our petrol powered chipper. All of the woodchip will be used in the garden for mulching. Our pallet compost bays need to be cleared out, the compost turned and new material added to keep the compost making process going. I am finding the turning process quite challenging, so maybe the future is lazy composting, or at least less turning? All of the semi-composted materials can still be used straight away in my metal raised beds at a lower level. Still have to buy ready made compost to finish off those beds. Bringing out the chainsaws and petrol wood chipper have made at least some of the work much easier.
