KillerWeed deals with coming of age character journies, with the message that everyone needs to both stand up and take responsibility for their actions, and have the desire to achieve something in life. It explores the effect stereotypes have on youth culture through two conflicting groups: the trendies vs. the chavs. There is animosity between the groups at the beginning, which is replaced by a need to survive.
