I practiced the erhu for 2 hours almost every day for 2 weeks and here's the result... Always wanted to learn a bowed instrument and thought the erhu would be a nice addition to my compositions. Learning this instrument can be incredibly overwhelming without a teacher, but there are plenty of resources out there so it's not impossible. I have some experience learning new instruments and already knew a bit of theory, so I can focus mainly on techniques which made it a lot easier for me. If you want to learn the erhu, I highly recommend getting a decent one to start with (the beginner range from Eight Tones and Eason Music are some great options), so when you inevitably make yucky noises in the beginning, you can at least be sure that there's nothing wrong with your instrument...and you're not gonna want to learn if the instrument doesn't feel good to play. my erhu: https://eight-tones.store/products/zh...
