We kick the week off with Fathertime, this time with their 4th & Long release. We’ve said this a couple of times, but this is more than just a celebrity brand. Jim Gaffigan spends a lot of time researching in Kentucky, even planning his touring schedule around dates in the state. That dedication shows in the glass. If you're looking for an excellent gift this holiday season, this may be the bottle. Next up is Starlight Distillery with a Hungarian Double-Oaked Bourbon and a Single-Barrel Bourbon. Starlight is simply one of the best in craft whiskey. The double oaked is also one of the oldest bourbon releases we've ever had from them. Packed with flavor and seriously good. We did say a week of our favorites, right? On Wednesday, the 13th Colony Maple 113 Bourbon returns. We released this via lottery earlier in the year, but 13th Colony is dedicated to making this a bottle that's always available. I'm sure our first allocation will be gone fast. But, give us a little bit of time, and we'll have it back in stock quickly. Woody Creek follows with an incredible example of what true craft distilling looks like. Locally sourced grains that are mashed, fermented, distilled and aged in Colorado, it may just be your favorite new distillery you haven't heard of. We have an incredible 12-year Hazmat Bloody Butcher Bourbon Barrel, as well as a 9-year Hazmat 100% Rye Single Barrel. Brian compares this rye to one of his top three pours of all time in the 2006 Thomas Handy release. As always, we close the week out with a bang. Bourbon De Luxe is back with its Batch 002 of the 16-year bourbon. This one needs no introduction and is special to me because I was a part of the blending process. This one’s a perfect reminder of what great bourbon is all about.
