The Biggest Sin

The biggest sin that you can commit and the sin for which most people will end up in hell, is for denying, rejecting and disobeying Jesus Christ. I read the words of John the Baptist as recorded in John 3:36 “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” The biggest sin that you can commit is to disobey Jesus Christ. Many people believe in Jesus, but they disobey Him and therefore they will perish. I read the words of Jesus in John chapter 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19“This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20“For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21“But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.” Jesus Christ is the Light of the world. Those who come to Him and who obey Him, walk in the Light. Jesus Christ gives His Holy Spirit in every person who obeys Him, and who seeks Him. We read in John 16:5 where Jesus promised the Holy Spirit, that was also given on the day of Pentecost. “But now I am going to Him who sent Me; and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ 6“But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. 7“But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8“And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; 9concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; 11and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.       12“I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14“He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. 15“All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you. Jesus Christ will be with and in every person who believes in Him, and who obey Him. Every person who obeys the gospel of Jesus Christ, His words. Every person who will repent of sin, turn away from their wicked ways, be baptized in water and dedicate themselves to obey Jesus; He will give His Holy Spirit in them. But most people do not want the Light. They do not want the Holy Spirit, they reject the Spirit of Christ, Jesus Christ and therefore they will perish. They do not really believe, and that is why the world and the unbeliever cannot receive the Holy Spirit. I read from John 14:16 Jesus said:"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (the Holy Spirit) that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of Truth whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you." Jesus was talking to His disciples, who knew Him and He promised him that the Holy Spirit will come and dwell in them,and also in those who obey His words, those who truly accept Him, those who truly believe. The condemnation is; that the Light has come into the world and men loved darkness more than Light. Jesus Christ came into this world and He has given His Spirit in this world to guide us into truth, but people reject Jesus Christ. Many believers reject Jesus; they believe in the Bible, they believe in their church, but they do not believe in Jesus because they do not obey Him. They reject Jesus Christ, they reject His words, they reject the Holy Spirit and although many of them believe that they have salvation, they will perish because they have rejected the truth. They have rejected Jesus Christ and they have rejected the Holy Spirit. The biggest sin that you can commit is to reject Jesus Christ and reject his Holy Spirit. Those who sin against the Holy Spirit, who reject the Holy Spirit, will find no forgiveness. Repent and obey Jesus Christ, be baptized in water and embrace, accept, seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus Christ that will come and dwell in you and be with you forever, if you obey Him and stay with Him.
