This is a channel where I make Chinese comprehensible input for Chinese learner at all levels and stages. This video talks about how Chinese give names to the kids in easy and slow Chinese. The tradition and thoughts behind the Chinese naming process. The video is made intentionally in slow Chinese and repetitive speech pattern for learners to pick up new words, phrases and language patterns. This series to come will be in a similar format in various topics and all aspects about Chinese culture. As I ,as a Chinese teacher, one gets the most out of learning the culture in the target language, Chinese is a language with supposedly 5000 years history, the language lives in its history and culture, will not and should not be singled out to learn on its own like in many language learning apps.
