At the 2/1/22 School Board Meeting, School Board Attorney Frank Kruppenbacher announced that an independent investigation had been conducted that found School Board Member Jon Arguello "guilty" of abusing his position and harrassing a vendor. The complaint was made by School Board Lobbyist and "disgraced" former State Representative Mike Horner, stating that Mr. Arguello abused his position by harrassing him and his clients after denying an ask for a campaign contribution for his sister. School Board Member Clarence Thacker made a motion to sanction Mr. Arguello, reading a long winded speech saying he was "embarrassed" by the situation, which was seconded by Member Robert Bass. Mr. Arguello wasted no time dismissing the complaint, and calling out financial relationships between the entire board and Mr. Horner, How Mr. Horner stated he hand selected Mr. Bass for his seat on the board, how Mr. Thacker is a "Mastermind" of the county and his conflicts of interest involving his wife, and much more.
