Traxxas Summit Upgrade Series...Part 3: A Better Shift Servo (Bluebird BMS-373MG)

First off, sorry for the blurry close ups. I filmed this awhile ago with my Xiaomi Yi. Not the best camera for the job. LINK: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/bms-373mg... The Traxxas 2065 Servos are not the most reliable and the plastic gears are not very strong. And to make matters worse they are an odd combination of size and spline count. Not many micro servos have a Futaba spline (25T)...but the Bluebird BMS-373 servo is here to save the day! Stronger, Metal Geared, 6V compatible, Ball Bearing Supported, 25T splined, and cheaper! What more could you want. These do fit in the Traxxas Summit and they SHOULD also work in other models where the Traxxas 2065 Servo is used. Note: The Hobbyking page says it has seals for waterproof use but I will be doing some extra waterproofing in a future video...because my Summit is a good swimmer.
