Monterey CA Veteran’s Memorial Park Campground is open year round to the public. Here are a few important points: (current as of August 2023. Be sure to check their website for any updates. The link is below. —They are first come, first served with no reservations available. —You may claim an open spot anytime after 7:00 AM each day. —It is recommended you arrive between 7:00-10:00 AM to secure a campsite. —There is a 3 night maximum stay. —Each campsite is $47 per night for tent campers and $53 if you have an RV. RVs include trailers, 5th wheels, and class B sprinter style vans. —The maximum length for any RV is 21 feet. —There are NO hookups (electric, water), but there is potable water and a dump station. The dump station is free to use for campers, and $13 if you are not camping. —Showers available free to campers, $4 for non-campers —Dogs allowed. Please keep on leash and AS ALWAYS, pick up after your dog. —All fees are due upon arrival in CASH or CHECK ONLY. —No campfires from June 1st-November 1st.
