Meet YogaToday Instructor Mona Godfrey

Mona Lisa Godfrey is a native Latvian, London resident and RYT E-500 yoga teacher who is passionate about utilizing the ancient wisdoms of yoga and meditation as a platform for change. Mona teaches Vinyasa (flow), and believes that the power of Vinyasa comes from attentive awareness. Mona was born in Riga, Latvia, and grew up in Stockholm, Sweden. In her teens, she and her family moved to Orange, California, where Mona turned to dance and athletics for refuge. Eventually, Mona trained under the guidance of Diana Pipaloff at Yoga Shakti Studio in Irvine, California. Mona has since launched and directed various studios and retreat centers in the US, Australia, and Indonesia. She is currently residing in London, where she leads group classes, workshops, teacher trainings, and retreats. Mona is also a LuLuLemon UK ambassador and featured Wanderlust Festival teacher.
