The other crossing in Bourne End is only 50 metres away on a road leading to the marina, with this crossing being on a private road. Both crossings are Automatic Half Barrier Crossings which are locally monitored by train drivers, with white flashing lights. Both crossings lower at the same time, but raise a few seconds after each other, depending on the direction of the train.
