I got my hands on a vintage Brother knitting machine (Brother KH-585) — but I wasn’t even sure if it would still work (Neither was the lady I got it from). So today I’m setting it up for the very first time and putting it to the test. It's my first experience EVER on a knitting machine: from dusting it off to threading yarn and pushing the carriage across, this video captures the full journey: the jams, the little victories, and the final reveal. As well as some of my naivety! 😅 Does it still knit after all these years?
