Discover the all-new 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLB, a fully reengineered electric compact SUV designed to offer greater interior space, improved efficiency, and a significant step forward in digital technology. With seating for up to seven passengers, the new GLB combines a functional, versatile layout with a redesigned interior featuring the latest generation of the MBUX system and the new Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS). The available MBUX Superscreen, enhanced graphics, and an updated user interface provide a more intuitive and personalised in-car experience. The GLB 250+ and GLB 350 4MATIC, both equipped with EQ Technology, will launch in spring 2026. The models offer a usable battery capacity of 85 kWh and an 800-volt electrical architecture that enables very short charging times. Under ideal conditions, up to 260 kilometres of additional range (WLTP) can be added in approximately ten minutes, while the GLB 250+ achieves a WLTP range of up to 631 kilometres. Fast DC charging of up to 320 kW is supported, with AC charging available at up to 22 kW. Interior space has been noticeably increased compared to the previous generation, with improved headroom and legroom in the first two rows. The flexible layout allows customers to choose between five- and seven-seat configurations, with the second row adjustable for additional cargo or passenger needs. Luggage capacity reaches up to 540 litres in the five-seater and 480 litres in the seven-seater, expandable to a maximum of 1,715 and 1,605 litres respectively. A 127-litre front trunk adds additional everyday usability. The 4MATIC variants are designed to perform confidently beyond paved roads. A rapidly responding front-axle electric motor, dedicated drive modes for rough terrain and low-grip surfaces, and the “Transparent Bonnet” function contribute to greater control and convenience. With a towing capacity of up to two tonnes and a 100-kilogram drawbar load, the electric GLB is also suitable for pulling full-size caravans or transporting e-bikes. The new GLB integrates a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems, including DISTRONIC distance control as standard in Europe, supported by multiple cameras, radar sensors, ultrasonic sensors, and a high-performance central computer. Regular over-the-air updates ensure the vehicle’s core functions and digital services remain current over time. As part of the fourth-generation MBUX ecosystem, the vehicle incorporates AI-supported voice interaction, improved app organisation, and navigation based on Google Maps, offering detailed route planning and enhanced situational awareness through MBUX Surround Navigation. Visually, the 2026 GLB introduces a stronger design identity with upright proportions, short overhangs, and a wider stance. The lighting signatures, radiator grille with 94 animated LED stars, and the standard panoramic roof contribute to a more modern and distinctive look. Inside, customers can choose from a wide range of design lines, trims and ambient styles to tailor the cabin to their preferences. Sales in Germany begin on December 8, 2025, with the GLB 250+ starting at €59,048 and the GLB 350 4MATIC at €62,178.
