In this emotional ground report from Gopalsar, Rajasthan, we met 4 Hindu families living on bera for the last 8 to 2 years. These families have been working in remote fields with no proper road access, no stable income, and no support system. Yet, when asked why their life is still better in India, all of them said one thing with complete honesty: 👉 “At least here, our lives are safe.” During our shoot, the landlady of the bera herself came and listened to the full conversation. With rare honesty and compassion, she admitted that these families are speaking the truth about their hardships and income. ✨ This video is also a heartfelt salute to the Rajput landlords of Rajasthan. When thousands of Pak Hindu families fled persecution and crossed into India, it was the Rajput samaj who first opened their fields, gave them work, and became the initial hosts and protectors. If they had not offered refuge, many families would never have been able to reach India safely. But today, after years of struggle, these families still need rehabilitation, stability, and support. They called HSF for help — and as a society, it is our collective responsibility to ensure they do not remain stuck in the same cycle of poverty.
