This chapter has been very good at diversifying many different problem types, perhaps at the expense of the IM3 student since a lot of this was actually learned back in IM1. I absolutely condone reteaching subject material, but I do question why it's introduced in IM1 in the first place keeping that in mind. No matter, we're here and we get to use it! But since so many problems are different, I spend some time on some of them in this review. Geometric series seems to be slighted in the problem set overall, especially when considering how many arithmetic-based problems are in 7.1, and the fact that geometric series is covered in two sections but only has three problems of relevance with its formulas.
