K-BIZ (Season 3) : SCALING UP TECH STARTUPS ‘SEADRONIX’, developing solutions for autonomous ships There is a company which has developed the innovative AI-based berthing monitoring and navigation assistance system. It is SEADRONIX, which has used the AI skills that are specialized for the marine environment in order to develop autonomous technologies for ships. Based on the essential technologies for autonomous ships and smart ports, it has provided solutions for safe berthing and effective management of ports. Also, the company has achieved various patents and certifications. AVISS, or AI-based Berthing Monitoring System is one of the advanced systems that the company has released. It can analyze the images and the related information of ships that are on the berth. Users can check the images of ships, distances between docks, berthing speed, distances with the neighboring ships with mobile devices. And it can be connected with other systems. AVM, which is the “Around-View Monitoring System” of the company has an embedded sensor module.
