With no copyright or licencing details on the label, it's difficult no know exactly when this great Popcorn Wylie production on the wonderful J.J. Barnes is from, but whatever, it is the only way to get it on vinyl. It's clearly an unfinished '60's recording and is just missing a Mike Terry sax solo and some undercover Andantes to make it an eleven out of ten recording. As it is, it still gets ten out of ten and it remained in the can and was released on this 2014 single. In 1992 I spent a lot of time with J.J. in London and he had a cassette tape of unreleased songs and recordings.
