Bye the way, I am sending free gifts to members, the friends who are noted in the post, please don’t forget to send messages to me on WhatsApp. Today we will talk about a mechanical problem, that is skewed gantry. Please do subscribe to this channel and give me your like, thank you. When we are cutting a rectangle part, we suddenly find that the diagonal data is inconsistent, for example, one side is 10 and the other side is 9. The reason for the inconsistent data may be the skewed gantry. When the machine is skewed due to mechanical impact or inconsistent friction treatment, the problem that may occur is that when cutting rectangular parts, the diagonal lines will be inconsistent. To identify the problem, we can re-cut a rectangle, preferably one with a side length greater than 100mm, and re-measure the diagonal. If the data is deviated, we can adjust using the following methods. Get into ‘Machine Config Tool’, ‘Machine’, the lower part, we could see the ‘Squareness correction’, select X or Y according to the part deviation direction; fill in the rectangular part measurement data here according to the graphic example on the right. After saving and exiting, the system will automatically correct the diagonal deviation based on the data. Then we can cut the same rectangle part as last and re-measure the diagonal, see whether the deviation is gone. If the diagonal is still not consistent, I think you need to run more checks, please ask professional engineers in. It should be noted that the if the gantry is skewed, it is likely to cause the diagonal lines of the rectangle to be inconsistent. However, the problem of inconsistent diagonal lines of the rectangle is not necessarily caused by the skewed gantry, so it needs to be dealt with in a targeted manner.
