After you have set the needles to the highest position, you can raise the presser foot. Now the thread tensions are released, and you can thread starting with the upper looper into the blue color-coded guides. For the lower looper, you afterwards thread the red guides. The video then shows you how to thread the right overlock needle (green guides) and the left overlock needle via the yellow guides.
