We are in Mumbai, the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is the financial capital and most populous city of India. The film opens with shots of the city streets through the moving bus on which the filmmaker is. We see a crowd of people, cars of that era and shops. The lens stands on Municipal Corporation Building which is located in South Mumbai and is a Grade IIA heritage building as well as the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus also known as Victoria Terminus which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the junction of Dadabhai Road Naoroji and Mahapalika Marg. The view changes with a flea market, people coming and going, cars and horse carriages as well as ox carriages. The camera gets back to the impressive terminal building and shows us its facade. We can see a sign in English that reads “Central Railway”. The terminal was designed by British architect engineer Frederick William Stevens from an original design by Axel Haig, in an exuberant Italian Gothic style. The recording continues with views of the outdoor market and shots of the city streets. The film closes with The Taj Mahal Palace hotel and the Gateway of India monument.
