Note: whoops, lol, b^2-4ac is called the *DISCRIMINANT*, not the determinant. My head was all in matrix land... forgive me please :P Hello :) In this video we introduce and break down the quadratic formula, including when and how to use it...Decaf-style, so ASMR, whispers, and lots of math ^-^. If this is all over your head or you don't feel like math-ing right now (can't understand why...lol j/k), I hope you find this relaxing all the same. This video is whispered and I suggest you wear headphones, but if you prefer soft-spoken, or other styles, feel free to browse around or suggest your own! Take your time and be patient with yourself if this is the first time you're hearing this stuff. ❤️ --------------------------------- Don't forget to subscribe if you want to see more videos like this and other not soft-spoken math tutorial videos on my channel! x, Marjie If you are curious about ASMR: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonom... Personally, I find whispering, soft-speaking, and certain sounds and personalities to be soothing and relaxing and a nice change of pace. I simply want to share math in this way because I think it's more personal and allows us to focus on the task at hand without outside distractions. I also find it less intimidating and it sometimes lends well for drifting off to sleep ;) My channel is definitely relatively low-tech, intentionally so, because I want the star of the show to be the math and my loving energy for you :) That said, there are tons of incredibly talented ASMR-tists on youtube who can layer all kinds of sounds and do fun roleplays, etc. so you should check this community out! If you are curious about my background: I have a Bachelor's Degree in math from MIT. My passion lies in discovering and embracing our infinite potential and math happens to be my favorite "language" for that. We all can use some inspiration and support from time to time, through the highs and lows of life. I want to encourage a non-competitive, non-judgmental, self-empowering space here. I also believe that the way in which we need help and support varies, whether we need guidance, accountability, or just a friend to hang out with while we learn through trial and error. I hope to capture a bit of everything. Really, this channel is my creative space to explore and grow myself, and share this little love of mine. Maybe along the way, I can help you out with math, and I can do much-needed review and learning myself! Having more patience, an ever-loving spirit, and courage to be authentically me are lifelong goals. Thanks for joining me & I hope we can share much love and Light :-*
