Staying creative against the odds is easier said than done, especially during the month of February when our last photograph seems like a distant dream. Our so-called creative spirit that was with us in abundance following the last fresh dump of snow, or on the morning of a hugely impressive hoarfrost has suddenly got up and left. Being creative is easy when the conditions are ideal, but why do we lack this creative spirit just because things got tough, which is when we need it the most? The month of February is the season in the UK when on the whole, it's dull, wet, windy and mild and everything in nature is on shut down.
