As per new abacus data, 44% of Canadians support eliminating the Temporary Woker Program.  Which is great but, most Canadians don't understand that the vast majority of foreign worker permits are given through the International Mobility Program and to international students.  The Temporary Foreign Worker Program only represents about 13% of all temporary worker permits issued in Canada.  So not only do we need to end the Temporary Foreign Worker Program but we also need to dismantle the International Mobility Programs and stop giving international students work permits.  These types of programs were intended to help make Canada better by filling jobs Canadians couldn't, not steal jobs away from Canadians and give them to 3rd world foreigners.  It's time for us to revamp our immigration policies and put Canadians first.
