VIOLENCE erupted on Tuesday evening after thousands of MAGA supporters descended on Washington, DC to protest Joe Biden's election win. Pictures showed clashes between protesters and police following rallies at sites around the nation's capital. The demonstration came the day before members of Congress are to vote to certify the results of the 2020 US presidential election, and the same day that voters in Georgia went to the polls to cast votes in the Senate runoff race. Roger Stone, a former adviser to President Donald Trump spoke at the rally at the Freedom Plaza during the protest. Protesters gathered at the Supreme Court building, Freedom Plaza, and Black Lives Matter Plaza to show support for President Trump's unfounded claims of voter fraud. Writing on twitter as demonstrations got underway, Trump said his supporters wouldn't stand for what he called his "landslide victory" being "stolen".
