This lady told me over a year ago, that she doesn't talk to people who are friends with her enemy. Mind you, this woman does not know me! I am a stranger! Who happened to have bought the house across the road from her! We've never broken bread! 🍞 And, although my name is as anglo-white-bread as it gets, she mispronounces my name!🤦🏽♀️ I never corrected her, though. Why? She's an NPC in my life, and based on how she introduced herself to me when I first moved into the neighbourhood, my intuition said she would be trouble. I gave her 2 years to prove me right. She officially did it in 5. Some may watch this video and say, "We'll, you must have done something to her". This is one of those cases where she's done it to herself. If I'm not greeting people in passing, I do not interact with others or speak to them unless they speak to me first. She and her husband sit, and they watch me all day long. She creates scenarios in her head where she's the main character and victim, then acts on it. She even managed to briefly turn her "enemy-neighbour" against me. If she sees me interacting with another neighbour that she usually doesn't interact with, she will become ever so friendly with said neighbour, and shortly their after, said neighbour would stop talking to me. I'm talking about people in their 50's and well above retirement age here! That's no biggy for me, though. They are the ones acting friendly to pry into my business. So if they don't talk to me, the better. The problem is that my unbotheredness is a problem to them, like this woman across the road. She came out in the night to instigate, because in her stereotypical mind, I should have acted differently so she could make a scene and persuade the other neighbour's to gang up on me because she's a "poor, sweet, innocent old lady" 🙄(she pulled a similar scenario with a strongly disliked neighbour years prior, and got him arrested and charged) Since that didn't work, her husband tried to be friendly with me. I quickly rejected that (birds of a feather...). He didn't think to stop her that snowy night from getting all dressed up in winter gear to go confront a stranger? Six months after telling me that she wasn't talking to me, she I made eye contact and she asked how my cat was. I ignored her! Maybe another month went by, and she got a puppy. As I walked by her house, she whistled. I looked in her direction, and she lifted her puppy over the fence to show me. I looked away and continued walking. This woman has been searching for ways to get to me. I had a suspicion that she would be looking for ways to report me to the city. She and her nextdoor neighbour used to call the city on each other, back and forth. I'm glad she revealed that her report was about my cat. Trust, she is not done yet. That vindictive [Insert preferred barbaric adjective] will not stop until she feels she got me good. Again, I don't know her, she doesn't know me. I just happen to live across the road from her! She thinks because I look young and use a "soft voice", I'm a pushover. Reason why one cannot be nice to some people. They will take your niceness for weakness 😶 Noticed at the start of the video, how the dog owners handled the side walk situation compared to her. She has itching to say something to me, and she saw her opportunity. Usually, I would ignore her, but this time, I was compelled to say something. Mind you, it didn't have to be this way. She played her hand and lost. Now she's trying to win it back by force and confrontation.....😌 #catvideo #mallorythecat #adventurecat #catbehavior #disgruntledneighbour #drama #caturdaymatinee
