Terror would strike when the Kling Klang Studio Malfunctioned at the start of Computerwelt, causing Kraftwerk to stop the show and reprogram the computers. The infamous "Kling Klang Breakdown". Other than that mishap this show is one of their bests when it comes to performances. Having 3 recordings to work with really opens up the recording making the show feel much more lively and clearer. The Mix tour is certainly different from what Kraftwerk did in 1981 and 1990. It was the stepping stone to what was to come for future tours and that the 'old sound' was gone and these new beats were here to stay. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mastering Notes: Recorder 1 which is one of the clearer recordings and is centered and probably the one most listen to needed severe pitch correction and EQing work. It's insane what you think sounds right but when it's tossed in with the other two recordings you realize how messed up it sounds, luckily I was able to fix it. I was also able to fix the ear-piercing whistler by this recorder during Das Model. This recording is a perfect middle ground where the mids are the highlights of this recording. Recorder 2 is panned to the left by 40% and it also had general EQing but luckily no serious pitch correction needed, this recording brings out the high ends of the show with some parts almost red lining. Recorder 3 is panned 40% to the right and just like the other 2 had general EQing but no serious pitch correction. This is the most complete recording of the show getting most of the Kling Klang Breakdown. This recording brings out the lower ends of the show which is a very bassy position. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Final Notes: Finally, I would like to say a huge thank you WorldmanOne who created the cover art and was a big help with suggestions and giving much needed feedback. As always, share freely, don't convert to MP3 unless for personal use, DON'T CHARGE ANYONE FOR FREE MUSIC, etc. Shine On, Carter S
