Claire also talks about as a major new exhibition, based on Powell + Pressburger's The Red Shoes, which is currently running at the BFI Southbank. This talk was part of Cinema Unbound: The Creative Worlds of Powell + Pressburger, the outcome of many years of conservation, preservation, restoration and remastering – a massive multi-partner endeavour that has gathered momentum since the first reappraisal of the films of Powell and Pressburger in the 1980s.
