A Brace of 60s in the Spectacular Yorkshire Dales The Logs head south too on the Settle & Carlisle 04 April 25 After a good morning recording at Carlisle I decided to risk a trip down to Ribblehead. The skies were clear but I knew there would be quite a wind blowing. I was expecting to see one aggregate train hauled by a Class 60 but to my surprise I saw two! After a bit of a wait - largely chatting to fellow Friends of the Settle Carlisle Line volunteers, and drinking tea - the Logs passed through. Fantastic views of Ribblehead Viaduct with Wherneside looming over the scene. The times shown on clips are for guidance only and shouldn't be taken as definitive.
