What do deer mean to us? By "re-reading" what we take for granted and think we understand, we can create an opportunity for new architecture to emerge from the deer. 私たちにとって『鹿』とはどのような存在でしょうか？当たり前に思え、分かったつもりになっていることがらを改めて『再読』することで、鹿から新しい建築が立ち現れるきっかけが生まれてきます。 Yu MORISHITA, Specially Appointed Lecturer, Institute of Industrial Science, The University of Tokyo Yutaka Morishita holds a B.A. in Architecture and Art from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), an M.A. in Architectural Theory and History from the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD), and a Ph. D. in Interdisciplinary Information Studies from the University of Tokyo. He is currently engaged in re-reading fieldwork, listening to the unique information of various places. He is currently developing a prototype research infrastructure for the UTokyo Ushioda Memu Earth Lab. 森下有　東京大学生産技術研究所特任講師 ロードアイランド・スクール・オブ・デザイン（RISD）にて建築と芸術の学士を、ハーバード大学デザイン大学院（GSD）にて建築理論・歴史の修士を、東京大学大学院 学際情報学府にて博士を取得。多様な場所が奏でる固有の情報に聴き入る、再読フィールドワークを展開中。「UTokyo Ushioda Memu Earth Lab」の研究インフラを試作している。 The 'memuearthlab' project is being implemented in Mebu, Hokkaido. Using Morishita's background as an architectural theory major, he is involved in activities such as fieldwork to organise what information is used when buildings are being built.
