#fumopassivo #malattierespiratorie #quitsmoking English: The video is about a project called "Hector the Protector Bear" aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of passive smoking on children. The project was launched during a press conference in Milan. The conference speakers discussed how passive smoking affects children and how even if parents take care of their children, they are still exposed to passive smoking outside, through smoke particles that stick to clothes and hair. According to statistics, 52% of second-year-old children in Italy are habitually exposed to passive smoking, 49% of newborns and children up to 5 years old, and 12% have at least one smoking parent. The speakers emphasized that passive smoking is just as harmful as active smoking, and it can lead to bronchitis, pneumonia, hospitalizations, and even cancer in adults. The speakers also stressed the importance of protecting pregnant women and children from passive smoking and the dangers it can cause, such as sudden infant death syndrome, low birth weight, respiratory infections, and heart and circulatory problems. The speakers urged people to be more conscious of the harm caused by passive smoking and to take steps to protect themselves and their loved ones.
