This DVD about the 101st Airborne Division takes place in World War II during the Winter War of 1944-1945 encompassing the Battle of the Bulge and beyond. In November 1944 the Screaming Eagles, of the 101st Airborne Division, were assigned to the U.S. First Allied Airborne Army but were fighting in the 2nd Canadian Corps of the First Canadian Army. The Division was in the process of holding its assigned lines near the Waal River, Series III Winter War: The Bulge and Beyond begins here and continues through to late January, 1945, as Division receives awards for their participation in the defense of Bastogne. Start by watching the men of the 101st receive awards for their action in Holland. Follow the division as they load trucks in Holland and head south through Belgium to the barracks at Mourmelon le Grande, France.
