Moving deeper within the temperature drops, and the air becomes heavy with an unnatural chill. The distant echoes of metallic footsteps, the march of Terminators, it is an unsettling cadence that reverberates. The time displacement equipment, a central pillar of Skynet's machinations, stands. An imposing monolith. Its pulsating core, a nexus of energy, ethereal, otherworldly. Stepping into the mechanical time portal, Reese feels the machine's cold inevitability, compressing him into the distant past.
