Not very expensive but worth the hike and views. The Superior Glove Factory, in the vicinity, had a factory front reception area. They asked if we wanted to visit the glove museum, which we did. The small museum’s displays gave us insight into the complex land of Hi-Teck gloves and their unusual materials. The guide asked if we wanted to see the factory. Being an engineer and a wife with amazing curiosity, we jumped at the opportunity. The NFLD phrase ‘Is a frogs arse watertight?’ fit the situation. We have been amazed by the hiking and walking opportunities on NFLD. The Woolfrey’s Pond Boardwalk was another of these. The Boyd’s Cove Beothuk Interpretation Centre gave a deeper dive into the life and death of this once secretive people.
