Sculpting a Horse Head in Clay While I Chat About Learning How to Improve My Process +IG Q/A

There’s something about the challenge of sculpting in low-relief that’s unusually tricky, yet I figured out how to do it, and I’ll take you along on the complete process of this horse sculpting journey, while also answering a few sculpting questions from Instagram. This time, I’m sculpting with Sargent Art brand of plastilina clay and comparing it to my previous experience with sculpting horses in epoxy putty. This is my sixth attempt at sculpting a clay horse in a low-relief (or bas-relief or medallion as it’s also called).
