In this video I compare the low light performance of the Sony a7C against the Canon EOS m6 mark ii with a speed booster. This isn't an ISO noise comparison. Rather, it's an exploration in seeing how the two cameras perform differently. The idea is the shoot with the Sony without doing anything to the footage in terms of noise reduction. And, comparing that to the footage from the Canon that has noise reduction applied to it. The question I'm looking to answer is, whether or not the image quality will be acceptable enough to forgo noise reduction which would ultimately save me time in the edit and render.
