Original motor has been replaced with a single speed (1750 RPM) motor and therefore the factory high/low speed selection no longer works and the lathe only runs at the high speed currently. Low speed could be achieved via a VFD. Specifications: Model: 15 x 48 Serial Number: 28815 Swing Over Bed: 15" Swing Over Gap: 24" Bed Length: 48" Through Hole: 2" Chuck Size: 10" Tailstock Spindle: #3 Morse Taper Headstock Spindle: L1 Phase: 3 Volts: 220/440v Variable Speed: Geared Head Footprint: 94" x 40" Approx. Weight: 2500 lbs Condition: Good working (see video) Condition NOTE: 3 jaw chuck does not run true, spindle reads at 0.003" runout and chuck reads at .0010" runout. Chuck will need to be remounted on the face plate to be operational.
