Meet the Calgarians Building the Green Line – Ana Marcal

Meet Ana Marcal, a professional biologist currently serving as a Biologist and Lead Environmental Monitor for the Green Line LRT SE Project. Since the project broke ground in June, Ana’s responsibilities have shifted towards onsite monitoring and inspections to ensure the project’s compliance with Federal, Provincial, Municipal acts, regulations, guidelines, and bylaws. As many construction sites become active, Ana monitors for birds and wildlife in each area. Preventing birds from nesting on a construction site is critical to avoid potentially costly schedule delays and to commit to building responsibly.
