Geocaching Basics: Discovering and retrieving trackables

Trackables go missing all too often. There are lots of ways this can happen, sometimes it's simply because the trackable was not logged out of the cache correctly. It can be a confusing process, particularly for someone new to geocaching. In this video I try to show how it's done, or at least how I do it. Hopefully it might help someone out there. We'll look at what to do on the geocaching.com site when you retreive a trackable, and when you leave it in the cache and just want to log that your have discovered it. The important thing is to ensure you remember to log a trackable out of a cache if you decide to retrieve it. Also don't forget to move it along as soon as possible.
