Our Upstairs Renovation Plans | 1950s House Transformation

I’m Martha, photographer, storyteller, and now accidental renovator and this is our journey of turning a tired 1950s countryside house into a home. My boyfriend Mark is a plumber and gas engineer (and very handy), so between the two of us we’re slowly renovating room by room, learning as we go and documenting the wins, the chaos, and everything in between. Alongside running my photography business, we’re building something that feels like ours. In this video we finally explore the upstairs properly and talk through our plans for the bedrooms and bathroom as we start figuring out how this house will slowly become our home. There’s also a tiny bit of renovation action… and a few things we definitely weren’t expecting to find.
